Proper fry up is incomplete without black pudding but the thought of the white stuff has me gagging, it looks just like those dog turds you don't see any more.

Clonakilty black and white Irish pudding is The Bollocks. Available in Waitrose apparently.
It's probably three times the price for tossers.

I had a black pudding and haggis pizza in an Italian restaurant in Glasgow last year. Bloody amazing.

Proper black pudding is great...Look for Bury or Bury St Edmund's for the best quality ones... Funny how both towns share the same name...must be a connection there somewhere.. Spanish Black Pudding (Morcilla) is very tasty too
However, those generic bland slices that you find in the supermarket or in a poor Cafe just don't cut it

Absolutely love it. Some of the brands are quite bland, Galtee & Denny. But can get some really tasty ones if you look hard enough. Rudds being a particularly fine example.

The butchers in Chaddesley Corbett used to do a superb one.
